Igor and Red Elvises (SIBERIAN SURF ROCK) If Igor and Red Elvises aren’t in the middle of a tour, they are getting ready for the next one – this is a group that is constantly in motion and consistently evolving. Singer, songwriter, guitarist and showman extraordinaire Igor Yuzov is perpetually globetrotting and in the process he has found scores of wildly talented, entertaining musicians to bring into the fold of this increasingly international party band. Red Elvises started as a Russian group, playing what they dubbed “Siberian Surf Rock”. Since then the band has included musicians from many other countries including United States, Israel, Puerto Rico and Bulgaria, to name just a few. Everyone who performs with them for any length of time brings something different both energetically and musically. At various times shows have included keyboards, accordions, sax, clarinet, trumpet, flute, banjo, mandolin, tuba and many other instruments. w/ Gumbo Boogie Band Gumbo Boogie has maintained a steady schedule for 22 years playing New Orleans piano rock and blues; zydeco; oldies and classic rock; jazz; country; and originals (sort of the NRBQ of Tampa Bay). They’ve played festivals and special events all over Florida; return engagements at The House of Blues Orlando, Universal Studio Orlando, Skippers Smokehouse; been seen on national TV’s CBS News “Early Show”, and been heard on community and alternative radio programs across the country. The band has opened for Buckwheat Zydeco (“There’s probably some big-name bands that are little bit scared of these guys”); Marcia Ball (“This is a really good, fun band”); and Tab Benoit (“Gumbo Boogie put on a great show opening for us”), to name but a few. This is a true good-time party band that never fails to fire up a Skippers crowd!
