Sara Rose Band This Tampa Bay-based female-fronted classic country sextet specializes in pre-1980 country & Western music made famous by stars the likes of Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, and George Jones. The group has been building a growing fan base through well-received performances at venues across Tampa Bay such as Skipper’s Smokehouse, The Ale & The Witch, The Amsterdam, New World Brewery, and The State Theatre as well as venturing afield for shows in the Orlando area and on Florida’s east coast. 2015 marked the band’s debut at the Florida Strawberry Festival, returning for an encore performance in 2016. This show features vocalist Sara “Rose” Hagan and guitarist Mark Warren who’ll be joined by bassist Chuck Riley, drummer Dennis McCarthy, steel guitarist TJ Weger, and fiddler Jason Baker.

Dean Johanesen & the 24 Hour Men After their November debut with Johanesen at the St. Pete Folk Festival, Dean Johanesen & the 24 Hour Men have been invited to perform at various events, including Localtopia, The St. Pete Tweed Ride, and on Streetcar Live, the Tampa trolley hosted by TECO and the Gasparilla Music Festival. The trio plays acoustic guitar-driven fare with a sonic palette that calls on Spanish rumba-style instrumentals, speakeasy-era Americana, and swinging hot club jazz dosed in circus tent hues. In addition to original material, sets are studded with perfectly executed covers of songs like Django Reinhardt’s Minor Swing. The group features Dean Johanesen on guitar and vocals, Mark Pezzo on upright bass and Max Kelly on percussion.
