Johnny G Lyon / JGLB & Friends (ROCK/CLASSIC RHYTHM AND BLUES)
Johnny G Lyon & JGLB (aka the Johnny G Lyon Band, or just JGLB) is inarguably one of the most durable bands in Tampa history. Almost any venue in the bay area that has featured live music within the last 3 decades has hosted the JGLB (or its’ antecedents) at one time or another. JGLB has been named “Best Local Band” by the Tampa Tribune reader’s poll three times. JGLB produced the soundtrack for a series of promotional videos for Tampa’s WFTS Channel 28. They have also been the subject of feature stories on Newschannel 8 and on Channel 13.
JGLB is led by 60 year old Johnny G. Lyon, a lifelong professional musician. Although Johnny was raised in “Country Music Mecca” Nashville, he grew up loving rock and roll. Johnny learned guitar from a Nashville Blues Legend he remembers only as “P.I.” Johnny began performing at schools and community centers at age 10.
Coco Red (ROCK N ROLL)

Jimmy James Band (ROCK N ROLL)
Jimmy is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist residing in Tampa, Florida. Proficient on electric and acoustic guitar, electric bass, drums, B-3 organ, piano and vocals.
The Little Kings (HIGH ENERGY RETRO ACOUSTIC R&R)
The Little Kings feature myself on acoustic guitar and my fellow Cincinnatian Tere Bertke on upright electric bass. Both members of the British Invasion group The Shaguars, we bring a unique acoustic twist and a surge of energy to that material as well as a great variety of other cool covers and some original stuff as well. We have been regulars at Downtown Disney/Splittsville, the Hard Rock Cafe Lobby Bar, The Florida Folk music series, and The Wiregrass Mall music series…We named ourselves after the iconic Cincy creme ale. Tere and I both played the Ohio and Michigan club circuit- but never in the same bands. Tere lived in Nashville for 5 years and played bass and toured with famous country band Blackhawk. We both ended up in Florida, and 20 years later, we finally got together to play the music we love and grew up on.
Southern Train (SOUTHERN ROCK/COUNTRY/ROOTS) is a 6-piece group that features veteran local musicians and performs male and female led songs with rich harmonies and layered guitars. Their sound is reminiscent of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers, and Rolling Stones with a unique, danceable sound that often leans toward modern country and pop. In December 2014, they released their first EP of all original music titled “Platt Street Bridge.” The band has shared the stage with several well-known national and regional acts and have performed all over the Tampa Bay area in many 4,000+ attended festivals and events. Their stage experience, musicianship, and high powered sets of sing-along classic hit covers and original songs always get the crowd on their feet moving until the very last note.
