Chicago Blues Hall of Fame artist, Liz Mandeville was named to the Alternate Root’s “40 Top Indie Artists To Watch” because she is an energetic, ageless, mistress of self reinvention. Liz, who is recognized for her powerhouse, 4 octave soul drenched voice, has won the International Songwriting contest for her catchy, incisive songs. “Quit Me On A Voicemail” a ballad from her 2015 release Heart O Chicago, has been downloaded more than 150K times from Spotify. The CD, written and produced by Liz is her 8th recording. She made 5 discs for Earwig Music including the recently released, Angels Sing the Blues, recorded at a live show in 2007, with Mary Lane and Shirley Johnson.

Liz has been nominated for the past two years for the Jimi-Awards “Guitar Heroine” award. Her music is funky, fresh, contemporary but has deep roots in traditional Blues & Soul. She’s held house gigs at every notable Chicago club & is featured on the Blue Chicago release “The Red Hot Mamas.” As well as her two critically acclaimed Blue Kitty Music CD’s.
