Holey Miss Moley, Row Jomah & Ragged Old Souls $7

August 2, 2015 @ 5:00 pm

$7

Holey Miss Moley (FUNK/SOUL) Holey Miss Moley is a nine piece Funk-Flavored Rock-Soul Infused Groove Factory based out of St.Petersburg, Florida. Their high-energy sound is reminiscent of old school 70’s funk melded with elements of Disco, Jazz, Soul and Hip-hop creating a superb fusion that delights and energizes the crowd getting people up and dancing all night! These musicians have collaborated together for years and it shows through their tight-knit sound and well orchestrated music. Even better, they enjoy playing together and it creates an atmosphere of funky fun for everyone. The band has recently been focused on spreading their wings throughout Florida playing festivals like Orange Blossom Jamboree, Tropical Heatwave, and Suwanee Disc Jam. Currently they are working on recording their tunes! You can expect a live EP by the end of the year and their first studio album by spring of 2016! Catch them every Tuesday night at the 5 O’clock Club in Sarasota!

w/ Ragged Old Souls (ROCK/FUNK) “Ragged Old Souls, founded in early 2014 by former members of several long time Tampa Bay area rock and jam bands, is a six-piece outfit bringing a tasty fusion of rock, funk, reggae, and blues. While their music may be hard to classify, the smokey vocals of frontwoman Enid “Soulshaker” Ortiz, combined with two dynamic, heavy-hitting lead guitar players, tight, energetic drumming, deep funky and grooving basslines, and an effects-laden alto saxophone (often times dripping wet with miles of reverb and delay) make for an unforgettable musical experience that will have audience members of all ages coming back for more.”

Row Jomah (FUNK) With soulful, contemplative bass lines from Jason Berlin, killer pocket and funky syncopative drumming from Dylan Chee-A-Tow, groovy and dynamic keys from Austin Llewellyn, riffy acoustic guitar and piercing singing from Joe Roma and shredding solos from Melbourne Walsh, see Row Jomah live at a venue near you soon.
