Damon Fowler Group (BLUES)
With his hybrid of roots rock, blues, and sacred steel, Florida native Damon Fowler started wowing audiences with his musical exploits as a teenager, building a reputation as one of the hottest young players on the scene. Adding songwriting and vocal skills to his repertoire over the years has brought him many accolades, with critics extolling his originality and maturity as well as his technical guitar expertise. In recent years “Best of Tampa” poll, Creative Loafing magazine has named him “Best Guitarist… And Slide Guitarist… and Lap Steel Player… And Dobro Player.”
Johnny G Lyon Band (ROCK/CLASSIC RHYTHM AND BLUES)
Johnny G Lyon & JGLB (aka the Johnny G Lyon Band, or just JGLB) is inarguably one of the most durable bands in Tampa history. Almost any venue in the bay area that has featured live music within the last 3 decades has hosted the JGLB (or its’ antecedents) at one time or another. JGLB has been named “Best Local Band” by the Tampa Tribune reader’s poll three times. JGLB produced the soundtrack for a series of promotional videos for Tampa’s WFTS Channel 28. They have also been the subject of feature stories on Newschannel 8 and on Channel 13.
JGLB is led by 60 year old Johnny G. Lyon, a lifelong professional musician. Although Johnny was raised in “Country Music Mecca” Nashville, he grew up loving rock and roll. Johnny learned guitar from a Nashville Blues Legend he remembers only as “P.I.” Johnny began performing at schools and community centers at age 10.

Dukes of Juke (FINGER POPPIN’ R&B)
Still smokin’ after 30 years, the Dukes of Juke. The Dukes of Juke with special guest the Late Night Brass horn section will be serving it up and laying it down. The Dukes of Juke have been serving up blazing hot and icy cool jazz, blues, and funk, through an eclectic mix of music for 30 years, playing everywhere from major blues festivals and venues to the smokiest little jazz clubs in the bay area. The Dukes, like a fine wine or well-crafted guitar, prove that there are reasons quality endures. The time-tested seasoned band features lead singer, saxophone and harmonica player, Bobby Rose, a tightly-wound ball of R and B. Mr. Rose is surrounded by the simmering guitar licks of Roger Casey while Dan Hill’s keyboard work smolders underneath. Thumping and rumbling behind them is Kyle Campana’s driving percussion and the heart pounding bass of Pat Peterson. Together, the Dukes give their audience a slice of coolness, so hot, you’ll want more.
