Ruben Rey and The Undercover Band (ROCK/BLUES/R&B/60’S)
Guitar-driven interpretations of music that defined a generation. Individually, band members have played in popular area bands dating back to the 1960’s, as well as having worked with nationally known artists.

The Lint Rollers (ROCK/BLUES/R&B/GARAGE)
Formed in 2006, THE LINT ROLLERS could be accurately described as a “nouveau-garage band” generating lotsa raw (though somewhat middle-aged) energy. We pretty much stick to music we love to play, regardless of categorization (mostly “classic” pop, rock & blues), and generally play material that you remember, but didn’t think to ask for. Although we’re frequently and randomly joined onstage by a talented assortment of musician friends, at its core the band is a trio, featuring Mike Cusumano on drums, George Valaes on bass and Joey Donovan on guitar. At most events, we’re fortunate to have Dennis “Torpedo D” Toerpe on the B3 organ. He’s in high demand (and we don’t pay very well) so we still call ourselves a trio, just to play it safe….
Johnny G Lyon / JGLB (ROCK/CLASSIC RHYTHM AND BLUES)
Johnny G Lyon & JGLB (aka the Johnny G Lyon Band, or just JGLB) is inarguably one of the most durable bands in Tampa history. Almost any venue in the bay area that has featured live music within the last 3 decades has hosted the JGLB (or its’ antecedents) at one time or another. JGLB has been named “Best Local Band” by the Tampa Tribune reader’s poll three times. JGLB produced the soundtrack for a series of promotional videos for Tampa’s WFTS Channel 28. They have also been the subject of feature stories on Newschannel 8 and on Channel 13.
JGLB is led by 60 year old Johnny G. Lyon, a lifelong professional musician. Although Johnny was raised in “Country Music Mecca” Nashville, he grew up loving rock and roll. Johnny learned guitar from a Nashville Blues Legend he remembers only as “P.I.” Johnny began performing at schools and community centers at age 10.
Quivering Rhythm Hounds w/ Damon Fowler (ROCKIN’ BLUES/CLASSIC ROCK)
A four piece band that personifies that old saying “still crazy after all these years.” The band has been together since the winter of 1981 when Patrick “Mojo” Harpe and Scott “Pinetop” Peterson decided to leave their own respective bands to form what ultimately became The Quivering Rhythm Hounds.
The Hounds specialize in easily identifiable Rockin’ Blues and Classic Rock hits that are a sure bet to fill the dance floor. Even those folks not accustomed to shakin’ their booties usually can’t resist getting in on the fun! Toe tappers and hip swayers of all ages enjoy seeing and hearing The Quivering Rhythm Hounds perform.
and several special guests including Dennis Torpedo Toerpe, Debra Miller and Denise Robinson
