The Black Honkeys (MOTOWN/FUNK/SOUL/ROCK N ROLL)
The Black Honkeys first hit the stage in August of 2000. Guitarist, Joe Sanders, and Phil Esposito sat down and started talking about the project. Joe was big into the J. Geils Band, Hendrix and the Stones. While Phil loved that too, he also had a love for the old Motown and R&B of the 60’s and 70’s. It was a good fit. Nobody in the scene was doing anything like it at the time, so it was a wide open playing field. They both had worked together in another long standing Tampa Bay act called, “Freaks Rule,” and knew they could put something together. Joe was playing with bass player, Wil “The Thrill” Harris, at the time. So that was a natural fit. There were two different drummers named Mike that we were playing with us. Mike Hammer was one of them; however, he was always busy with another band. So the other Mike took over. We started rehearsing in September of the same year and did our first show at Club More in Clearwater on New Years Eve of 2001.
Greg Billings Band (SOUTHERN ROCK/SOUL)
Greg Billings always knows what he wants and he goes after it with purpose. He has become the quintessential frontman recognized for his unique vocal tonality, and his ability to grab any audience’s attention and hold them for as long as he’s on the stage. Backed up with a sold band of veteran musicians, the Greg Billings Band rolls on bringing smiles to the faces of live music lovers everywhere.
Soul Circus Cowboys (TAILGATE COUNTRY)
When the sum total is greater than the individual parts, it’s called “synergy” or in this case, “The Soul Circus Cowboys.” Their diverse life experiences and eclectic blend of musical styles combine to create a truly unique new band with a sound that is all their own.
Soul Circus Cowboys are four extremely talented individuals, Billy McKnight; vocals, band leader and songwriter, Jason Alfano; drummer, Michael Bach; bass, vocals and Rick Morgan on guitar. These guys are as authentic as genuine leather and twice as tough. Collectively Soul Circus Cowboys have seen more road and travelled more country than the chrome bumper on a freight haulin’ eighteen wheeler… All this ‘livin’ has honed their talents to “craft” this incredible band that can more than deliver on record and in concert.
The Stone City (BLUES/ROCK/SOUL)
The Stone City is a unique blend of old school blues “Muddy Waters/John Lee Hooker” and timeless rock & roll “The Black Crowes/The Rolling Stones/Lenny Kravitz”. Band members of The Stone City are Geoff Abraham on Vocals/Guitar, Mark Busto on Drums and Jeff McDonald on Bass/Vocals.
